To start I had sheesh kebabs and naan, in which I found the kebabs to be both succulent and juicy. The naan was stuffed with a mince which made my mouth water. I was very surprised at the generous portions of side salad and I was spoilt for choice over the different flavoured sauces. For my main course I went for the traditional chicken tikka which came with an enormous portion of beautiful pilau rice, which was equally delicious. For dessert I decided to splash out on a pineapple kulfi which was presented beautifully. A quarter of pineapple hollowed and filled with pineapple ice-cream, sweet and tangy. After my meal along with my coffee I was presented with some posh mints, which of course had the merlin logo on. I found the service extremely efficient and quick. The surroundings themselves in the restaurant were very romantic and provided a beautiful atmosphere for a quiet dinner. I noticed as couples left the restaurant the lady was presented with a beautiful flower as they left, free of charge which was the perfect end to the perfect evening. I would definitely go back again as I fully enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend this to others if they have not already tried it. Paul rated this 9 out of 10. | |||||||||||||||||||
