I was at the Shajahan restaurant on Saturday night, we had a booking for 8 people. When we got there they took us straight to our seats and it was a good thing we reserved our seats as the restaurant was at full capacity. But still the service was great, they were very friendly, helpful and polite. For starters I had the Kebab Roll which was real nice with a nice salsa like spicy taste. As a main I went for the Jhingri Alfsarg, not 100% sure what to expect, but once again supplemented with my rice and nan I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was good being about a 40-50 seater, it was a nice warm & friendly feel, with a very nice colourful decor to let you know you're enjoying a different experience. To cap off a perfect evening the waiter gave my partner a rose as she left, saved me a few quid & got me into the good books for treating her to a lovely meal & night & the best thing is it cost less than £10 a head!!!
